With thanks to expert knowledge and experience, a strong passion and a huge work ethic JMH Group are dedicated to always working to the highest levels of safety and efficiency whilst striving for optimum results for our clients.

JMH Group have a large team of qualified and experienced tradespeople working in our workshops, based in Geraldton and Perenjori, plus in various field placements throughout Western Australia. Our trade qualified technicians include Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics, Auto Electricians and Boilermakers. These technicians are handpicked by our management team and are OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) trained from Toyota to CAT and Komatsu. With the backing of our highly capable team from the ground up JMH Group remain confident that OEM products will be provided to our clients at a reasonable cost.

These technicians work with and are supported by our Parts and Clerical Departments who are also recognised and acknowledged as critical in the successful operations of JMH Group. The team at JMH Group are led by a supportive and experienced Management Team to ensure our clients receive the best service and support available in the industry.

We are very enthusiastic about keeping up to date with the latest advances in industry technologies and tooling to continue as industry leaders and innovators. This passion and drive helps to ensure we are equipped to handle every situation efficiently and safely. JMH Group have an extensive library of hire equipment, tooling and personnel to ensure our clients are able to stay at the top of their game.

All of these qualities have established JMH Group as industry leaders and in recent years led to partnerships with international innovators such as Scania, JCB, Groeneveld – Beka and FUCHS Lubricants. JMH group is endorsed and equipped to supply parts, service and support for these brands as well as holding a dealership license for JCB machinery.

Jaydon Hirst

Jaydon Hirst

Company Director

Jaydon has over 20 years’ experience working in both OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and Retail businesses servicing the Mining, Road Transport and Construction Industry. He has extensive industry knowledge and experience and is passionate about keeping up to date with technologies and trends in diagnostics and repairs which increase efficiency and productivity.

After completing his Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanical Apprenticeship in 2001 at Kelly’s Truck and Marine Jaydon relocated to the Kalgoorlie/Goldfields where he commenced his 10-year career with Komatsu, first as a Field Service Technician and then relocating back to Geraldton as Branch Manager.

In 2011 Jaydon fulfilled a lifelong dream of starting a business that provides leading industry solutions to his clients and opportunities for tradespeople (and aspiring tradespeople) to work on a wide variety of plant and equipment, enabling them to broaden their skills and knowledge. Jaydon has a reputation for his profound determination , work ethic and passion which, jointly, form the major driving force behind the success and continual growth of both the business, and the Team at JMH Group.

Leah Hirst

Company Director

Leah has worked for over 20 years in Administration, Human Resources and Management within the Legal Services, Earthmoving and Contract Management Industries. Leah began her career as a Legal Secretary. With a desire to help others, Leah trained to become a paralegal; working and volunteering in various roles within the Not-for -profit sector for several years. During this time Leah’s desire to give back to the community flourished and her passion to be involved in philanthropic work grew. The success of JMH Group has enabled Leah to continue this path

Leah works in close partnership with a team of Human Resources, Legal and Financial Consultants to ensure that all JMH Group operations, processes, procedures, and business development strategies are compliant with Legislative and Industry specific requirements, whilst continually striving to achieve and maintain professional and commercial best practices.

Leah is proud to be a Yamatji-Badimaia woman.

Sheldon Waldock

Sheldon Waldock

Workshop Manager

Sheldon has over 17 years of experience as a Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic. After completing his apprenticeship at Boddington Bauxite Mine in 2003, Sheldon commenced with Westrac CAT in 2004 as a Field Service Technician in the Goldfields. Sheldon has worked in various leadership roles at both Westrac CAT and Centrals CEM such as Field Service Coordinator, Leading Hand and Workshop Manager.

In addition to Sheldon’s extensive Caterpillar experience and knowledge Sheldon has a very honest, trustworthy and understanding nature. He is diplomatic and takes an investigative approach to problem solving. These attributes ensure that Sheldon creates trusting and reliable relationships with both his Team and JMH Clients.

Bryce Kennedy

Bryce Kennedy

Field Service Manager

Bryce joined JMH Group in 2017 as a boilermaker and upgraded his trade to a Heavy-Duty Diesel Fitter.

After working as a Leading Hand Role at Mt Gibson in the first half of 2020, Bryce was promoted to this Geraldton based position responsible for managing rosters, attendance, health & safety and technical assistance to our field service staff.

Bryce’ success is testimony to his hard work and the efficacy of our Career Development Program.

John Regan

John Regan

Human Resources, Safety, Environment & Training Manager

John is a qualified Auto-Electrician with 25 years experience in the Automotive industry. He ran his own Auto-Electrician business for many years before taking a field officer/group training position with ATC Midwest. During his first 5 years with ATC, John completed a Diploma of Human Resourcing Management before becoming Operations Manager for 10 years. When he left ATC Midwest, John ran a HR consultancy business for a few years before joining JMH Group early 2021.

Besides his HR expertise, John brings a knowledge and focus on apprenticeship which aligns with JMH Group’s values.

In his spare time, John dedicates time to coach junior hockey in Geraldton.

Imogen Divitini

Human Resources Coordinaor

Imogen began her HR career with JMH Group in early 2023, after moving to Geraldton in 2021 and working in the front office of a local civil construction and earthmoving company.

She is currently studying her Diploma in Human Resources and Leadership and Management in between work and home life.

Imogen’s can-do attitude, ability to multi-task and take on new challenges have been strong assets to the organisation in a fast growing environment.

Sylvia Kalabai

Sylvia Kalabai

Safety and Training Coordinator

Sylvia assists and supports all entities under the JMH Corporate banner in complaint safety process and procedure, as well as provides support for management and all employees for training needs across the business.

Sylvia has over a decade of corporate-level safety systems experience working with global machinery brands and mining companies. She has strong knowledge of quality systems and procedure documentation that contribute to establishing JMH as a leader in the market in safety and quality systems management.

Colleen King

Colleen King

Service Coordinator

Colleen joined JMH Group in September 2021 after a career in Sales Administration with Youngs Licensing and Western Independant Foods. Colleen looks after the scheduling of our customers’ vehicle repairs and liaises with many crucial stakeholders. Her flexible skills mean she has also been able to take on the processing of our weekly payroll.

Outside of work, Colleen is a busy wife and mum of 2 boys.

Adam Bendikas

Parts & Procurement Officer

Prior to joining JMH Group, Adam worked in Queensland for 8 years in the Automotive Industry as a spare parts procurement officer for multiple franchise dealerships. He worked with multinational parts such as Holden, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Volkswagen, Skoda, Renault. His positive attitude, attention to detail and high level of customer service are a definite asset in this front of house role.

Bruce has over 22 years working in Parts, Purchasing and Storeman Roles within the Mining and Road Transport Industry. Bruce is a team player, is highly organised and his ‘can do’ and ‘will do’ attitude ensures that his Team and our Customers are receiving nothing but the best Service from the JMH Parts Department.

Receptionist

Jean-mari joined JMH Group in April 2023. She completed highschool at Geraldton Christian College and pursued her love of nature by studying a Cert III in Conservation & Land Management. Whilst studying, Jean-mari worked as a senior waitress at L’Italiano Restaurant for 1 and 1/2 years.

With a keen eye for detail and a friendly professional personnality, Jean-mari is a well suited addition to our Administration team.
